Indications
This Nasal Spray is used to prevent and treat allergic rhinitis (such as hay fever and perennial rhinitis) that is accompanied by nasal congestion.
Pharmacology
Xylometazoline Alpha-adrenergic sympathomimetic agents include chloride. Nasal congestion is relieved by the vasoconstriction it causes. Cold sufferers can now breathe more easily through their noses.
The nasal mucosa frequently has a local effect from sodium cromoglicate. Following antigen-antibody union, it prevents sensitized mast cells from producing type-l allergic response mediators such as histamine and slow-responding substance of anaphylaxis (SRS-A). The drug doesn't stop IgE from attaching to the specific antigen; instead, it stops the chemicals that are released as a result of this reaction (such as histamine and SRS-A). The drug also inhibits Type-III (late allergic, Arthers) responses, but to a lower level.
Dosage
Adults (including the elderly) and children: One spray on each nostril four times daily.

Side Effects
There have been no significant adverse effects recorded. The nasal mucosa may be irritated on occasion on the first day of usage. Wheezing and chest tightness have been recorded in rare situations while using Sodium Cromoglicate solutions alone. Because this formulation contains a lesser dosage of Xylometazoline, it produces minor side effects such as nasal irritation, dryness of the nose, sneezing, headache, sleeplessness, sleepiness, and palpitations.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Caution should be used during pregnancy, as with other medications, especially during the first trimester.
Precautions & Warnings
Decongestants, in general, can cause rebound congestion or drug-induced rhinitis if used or abused for an extended period of time.
Storage Conditions
Keep below 30°C and away from light and moisture. Keep out of children's reach
