Directions for Use

Clean your hands with soap and water, and dry them with a towel. Alternatively, use an alcohol swab and ensure the fingertip is completely dry before testing.
Remove a test strip from the box and insert it into the glucometer just before pricking your finger.
Use a clean lancet or insert a new needle into the lancet device. Prick the side of your fingertip and wait for the blood to ooze out.
Wipe off the first drop of blood gently. Place a drop or two onto the designated area of the test strip.
Press a clean cotton pad or gauze on the prick site to stop the bleeding.
The blood glucose level will appear on the meter’s display. Note your readings for monitoring purposes.
Follow this procedure every time you test your blood glucose level.
