Dosage & Administration
- Peripheral neuropathies:
- 1500 mcg/day in 3 divided doses.
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Mecobalamin Tablet is to be taken with food.
Interaction
- Decreased GI tract absorption: Neomycin, aminosalicylic acid, H2-blockers, colchicine.
- Reduced serum concentrations: Oral contraceptives.
- Reduced effects in anemia: Parenteral chloramphenicol.
