Oral:
- For seizure disorders in adults, the initial dose is 1.5 mg/day, divided into three doses, and gradually increased as needed. Max daily dose: 20 mg.
- For panic disorder, the starting dose is 0.25 mg twice daily, increasing to a target of 1 mg/day.
- Pediatric patients' starting dose ranges from 0.01-0.03 mg/kg/day.

Leptic does not alter the pharmacokinetics of phenytoin, carbamazepine, or phenobarbital. Its effect on the metabolism of other drugs remains unstudied.
