✔️ Indication of Biofol 5

Biofol 5 Tablet is a detoxifying agent or folic acid analog that is used in cytotoxic treatment as an antidote to decrease the toxicity and impact of certain cancer medications such as methotrexate. The mechanism of action of Biofol 5 is to protect healthy cells from the toxic effects of methotrexate (or other cancer medications) while allowing it to penetrate and destroy cancer cells. Aside from that, it can be used in cancer therapy in conjunction with the medication 5-fluorouracil. (cytotoxic therapy).

Tetrahydrofolic corrosive's 5-formyl subordinate, folic corrosive, may exist.
