Oxiplat, in combination with infusional 5-fluorouracil/folinic acid, is used for:

  1. Adjuvant Treatment: Stage III colon cancer in patients who have undergone complete surgical removal of the primary tumor.
  2. Treatment of Advanced Colorectal Cancer.

Day 1:

  • Oxaliplatin: 85 mg/m² IV infusion in 250–500 mL of 5% Dextrose over 2 hours.
  • Folinic Acid: 200 mg/m² IV infusion over 2 hours.
  • 5-Fluorouracil:
    • 400 mg/m² IV bolus over 2–4 minutes.
    • Followed by 600 mg/m² IV infusion over 22 hours.

Day 2:

  • Folinic Acid: Same as Day 1.
  • 5-Fluorouracil: Same as Day 1.
