✔️ Pharmacology

Lactase is an enzyme that alleviates lactose intolerance symptoms by breaking down milk sugar (lactose) into glucose and galactose through hydrolysis, making dairy foods easier to digest.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Ezymilk

Pediatric Drops:

Breast Milk:

1. Express 2-3 tablespoons of breast milk into a sterilized container.
2. Add 4 drops of lactase pediatric drops.
3. Give the mixture to the infant with a spoon or oral syringe before breastfeeding.
4. Breastfeed as usual.

Formula:

1. Add 4 drops of lactase pediatric drops to warm (not hot) formula.
2. Wait 30 minutes, shaking occasionally.

Making Formula in Advance:

1. Add 2 drops of lactase pediatric drops to warm formula.
2. Store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
3. Feed the infant as normal within 12 hours and discard any unused formula.
