Indication of T-Cure 2% Cream

T-Cure 2% Cream is an antifungal medicine used for the topical treatment of fungal infections. It kills and stops the growth of fungi on the skin, thereby preventing the growth of fungus and healing the infected area.

Pharmacology

Naftifine is a synthetic allylamine antifungal that inhibits the enzyme squalene monooxygenase. This inhibition reduces the synthesis of ergosterol, a primary sterol in the fungal membrane, leading to its fungicidal and fungistatic effects.

Dosage of T-Cure 2% Cream

For topical/cutaneous skin fungal infections in adults, apply naftifine hydrochloride cream once daily or gel twice daily, in the morning and evening. The treatment duration varies:

• Tinea cruris and tinea corporis: 2-4 weeks
• Tinea pedis: 4-6 weeks
• Severe infections: May require prolonged treatment

Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected areas, extending to a half-inch margin of healthy surrounding skin.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Nursing Mothers: It is not known whether this drug is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Naftifine Cream is administered to a nursing woman.

Precaution & Warnings:

Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Do not use occlusive dressings or wrappings. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
