Indications
40mg of Esonix A medication known as a capsule lowers the amount of acid your stomach produces. Heartburn, acid reflux, and issues with your food pipe are all treated with it. Stomach ulcers can also be prevented and treated with them.
Pharmacology
By specifically inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase in the gastric parietal cell, the proton pump inhibitor esomeprazole reduces stomach acid output. Esomeprazole (omeprazole's S-isomer) is the first proton pump inhibitor with a single optical isomer and offers superior acid control over racemic proton pump inhibitors.
Dosage
Administration
Esomeprazole tablet or Capsule: should be swallowed whole and taken one hour before a meal.
Interaction
CYP2C19 and CYP3A4 substantially metabolize esomeprazole in the liver. Esomeprazole is not expected to inhibit CYPs 1A2, 2A6, 2C9, 2D6, 2E1, and 3A4, according to in vitro and in vivo research. There shouldn't be any clinically significant interactions with medications that these CYP enzymes process. According to studies on drug interactions, esomeprazole does not interact clinically with phenytoin, warfarin, quinidine, clarithromycin, or amoxicillin.
Contraindications
Esonix 40 has contraindicated in-patient with known hypersensitivity to any of the formulations.
Side Effects
Pregnancy & Lactation
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies on pregnant women. Animal studies have revealed no teratogenic effects. The excretion of esomeprazole in milk has not been studied. Breastfeeding should therefore be discontinued if the use of esomeprazole is considered essential.
