Indications
Vaginal trichomoniasis, vaginal leucorrhoea, mixed vaginal infections (Fungal or Bacterial).
Pharmacology
Metronidazole, a nitroimidazole, is active against various anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Nystatin is a polyene antibiotic with antifungal activity. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside. It is bactericidal and active against some gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. Polymyxin is active against gram-negative organisms including Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Dosage & Administration
One suppository in the vagina at bedtime for 12 days, or as directed by the physician.
Interaction
Patients who are hypersensitive to Metronidazole, Neomycin Sulphate, Polymyxin B Sulphate, or Nystatin should not take this medication.
Contraindications
Escitalopram is not recommended for patients who have a known hypersensitivity to Escitalopram, Citalopram, or any of the drug's inactive ingredients. It's not a good idea to take escitalopram and monoamine oxidase/pimozide at the same time.
Side Effects
Skin rash and urticaria may occur rarely.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy and lactation should be approached with caution.
Precautions & Warnings
If you have kidney disease, you should exercise caution.
