Hypertension, Congestive heart failure, HTN, Angina pectoris.
Bisoprolol Fumarate is a β1-selective adrenoceptor blocking agent, and Hydrochlorothiazide is a benzothiadiazine diuretic. Their additive effects help in treating hypertension.
Generally well-tolerated with mild and transient side effects. Possible side effects include fatigue, dizziness, headache, bradycardia, arrhythmia, peripheral ischemia, chest pain, palpitations, cold extremities, claudication, orthostatic hypotension, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, dyspepsia, rhinitis, pharyngitis, and others.
Bisoprolol Fumarate and Hydrochlorothiazide, when used individually or in combination, are effective in treating hypertension. The antihypertensive effects are additive, and Hydrochlorothiazide 6.25 mg significantly enhances the antihypertensive effect of Bisoprolol Fumarate. Bisoprolol Fumarate is a β1-selective adrenoceptor blocking agent, while Hydrochlorothiazide is a benzothiadiazine diuretic. Thiazides, like Hydrochlorothiazide, influence renal tubular mechanisms of electrolyte reabsorption, leading to increased excretion of sodium and chloride in roughly equivalent amounts.
Limited data; signs may include bradycardia, hypotension, lethargy, delirium, coma, convulsions, respiratory arrest, congestive heart failure, bronchospasm, and hypoglycemia.
Contraindicated in patients in cardiogenic shock, overt cardiac failure, second or third-degree AV block, marked sinus bradycardia, anuria, and hypersensitivity to either component or other sulfonamide-derived drugs.
Store below 30°C, away from light & moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
