How does HepaMerz Tablet work?

HepaMerz is a combination of two amino acids which works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals), thus preventing liver damage.

Indication of HepaMerz Tablet

• Acute Hepatitis (Viral, non-viral, drug-induced)
• Chronic Hepatitis (with or without hyperammonaemia)
• Cirrhosis of Liver
• Fatty Liver with hyperammonaemia
• Hepatic Encephalopathy
• As an adjuvant therapy with all hepatotoxic drugs

Pharmacology

Pancreatin contains enzymes such as protease, lipase, and amylase. It aids in digestion by hydrolyzing fats to glycerol and fatty acids, converting proteins into proteoses and peptides, and breaking down starch into dextrins and sugars. It is used when pancreatic enzyme secretion is deficient. L-ornithine-L-aspartate (LOLA) is used for managing hepatic encephalopathy, although its effectiveness and safety are still being studied.

Dosage & Administration of HepaMerz Tablet

• 1-2 tablets daily
• Follow your doctor's instructions.

HepaMerz may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
