How does Carticare TS Tablet work?

Glucosamine and Chondroitin relieve osteoarthritis symptoms. It helps in the formation of cartilage (the soft tissue that cushions the joints) and keep the joints lubricated for better movement and flexibility.

Indications of Carticare TS Tablet

Carticare TS Tablet is indicated for:

• Treatment of osteoarthritis of knee, hip, spine, hand, and other locations as a dietary supplement.
• Beneficial in rheumatoid arthritis, sports injuries, migraine, psoriasis, atherosclerosis, kidney stones, and inflammatory bowel disease.

Pharmacology

• Glucosamine Sulfate: A natural amino sugar essential for the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) like Hyaluronic Acid, Keratan Sulfate, and Chondroitin Sulfate, which form proteoglycans, vital for articular cartilage. It promotes cartilage production and repair.
• Chondroitin: Found in connective tissue, it provides a substrate for proteoglycans and protects existing cartilage from degradation by inhibiting the MMP enzyme.

Dosage & Administration of Carticare TS Tablet

• For 250/200 mg tablet: 1 to 2 tablets, three times daily. Dosage may be adjusted based on drug response and body weight.
• For 750/600 mg tablet: 1 tablet two times daily or as directed by the physician.
• Take as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole, do not chew, crush, or break it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Interaction

No significant drug interactions were reported. Chondroitin may enhance the blood-thinning effects of anticoagulants.
