Omidon Paediatric Drops has an anti-emetic property that acts by blocking a chemical messenger in the brain called dopamine, which transfers information through nerve endings. Omidon Pediatric Drops function by inhibiting the muscle contraction that occurs naturally in the digestive system and enhances the peristaltic movement in the food pipe which helps in facilitating digestion time faster, this causes calming down effect, thereby relieving nausea or vomiting sensation.

It is not recommended for those who have a history of high sensitivity to Domperidone or any of the planning components. Domperidone should not be used when there is a risk of gastrointestinal stimulation. (i.e., gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical hindrance, or aperture). It is also not recommended in cases of prolactinoma.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation

The safety of domperidone has not been proven, so its use during pregnancy is not recommended. Animal studies have not shown teratogenic effects on the fetus. Domperidone can cause galactorrhea and improve postpartum lactation. It is secreted in breast milk, but the amount is very small and not enough to be considered harmful.
