✅ Description:

Aristomol GFS Ophthalmic Gel Forming Solution contains Timolol, which belongs to the beta-blockers group. It is used to manage increased pressure in the eyes due to conditions like glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Ocular hypertension refers to high eye pressure without vision loss, while glaucoma is a group of eye disorders causing optic nerve damage and potentially leading to blindness. Symptoms of glaucoma include patchy blind spots, severe headache, eye pain, redness, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, and halos around lights.

Timolol works by blocking beta receptors in the eye tissues that increase aqueous humor production. This reduces aqueous humor production, thereby decreasing intraocular pressure. Remove soft contact lenses before using this medicine and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. Your doctor may perform eye tests before starting treatment to assess your condition.
