Nepanil is a pain-relieving eye drop used to manage pain and inflammation following cataract surgery. Always wash your hands before using it. Use only the prescribed number of drops, and wait five minutes between each drop if using more than one. Contact lenses should be removed before using Nepanil, and you should wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination and infection. Common side effects include eye irritation, burning, blurred vision, and watery or dry eyes, which are usually temporary. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.
Before using Nepanil, inform your doctor about any other medications or medical conditions. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using the medicine.

Nepafenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory prodrug (NSAID). After instillation in the eye, it penetrates the cornea and is converted by ocular tissue hydrolase to Amfenac, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Amfenac is thought to inhibit the action of cyclooxygenase enzyme. This enzyme is required for prostaglandin synthesis.
Child Dose:
Should not be used by patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the formulation or to other NSAIDs.
Use in pregnancy: There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Nepafenac should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
Use in lactation: It is unknown whether this drug is excreted in human milk. So, caution should be exercised when Nepafenac ophthalmic suspension is administered to a nursing mother.
