Psyllium Husk, a mild laxative, comprises 80% soluble fiber. Its main chemical component, mucilage, is highly useful in chronic constipation, piles or hemorrhoids, and colon cancer. Psyllium exhibits soothing effects on the gastric and intestinal mucosa, making it effective against gastric irritation and ulceration. Furthermore, Psyllium lowers serum cholesterol levels (LDL) and reduces blood glucose, making it suitable for obese and diabetic patients.
Each 3.5 gm sachet contains Psyllium Husk (Psyllium) as the active ingredient. Psyllium forms a thick gel when mixed with water, aiding in relieving constipation and regulating bowel movements.
