Indications of E-Cap Plus
Keratosis, rough skin, aging wrinkles, Alzheimer's disease, cancer prevention, dementia, degenerative diseases, coronary heart disease, end-stage renal disease, body tissue growth and repair, bone, skin, teeth, and hair.
Pharmacology
Vitamin C is required for the creation of collagen and tissue repair; it also plays a role in oxidation/reduction reactions and other metabolic pathways, such as the synthesis of catecholamines, carnitine, and steroids; and it aids in the conversion of folic acid to folinic acid.
Vitamin E protects red blood cells from hemolysis, protects polyunsaturated fatty acids in cell membranes from free radicals, and prevents vitamins A and C from oxidation.
Dosage & Administration of E-Cap Plus
One tablet or capsule daily or as directed by a physician.
Interactions of E-Cap Plus
Deferoxamine, hormonal contraceptives, fluphenazine, warfarin, elemental iron, salicylates, warfarin, fluphenazine, disulfiram, mexiletine, and vitamin B12 are all examples of vitamin C.
Vitamin E absorption may be hampered by colestyramine, colestipol, and orlistat. Vitamin E in high concentrations enhances the anticoagulant effect of warfarin. Large dosages of vitamin E may impede iron supplementation response.
Contraindications
Patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Side Effects of E-Cap Plus
This preparation is generally well tolerated. Diarrhea and a mild yellow coloring of the skin are possible side effects of beta-carotene therapy. Vitamin A's negative effects are reversible. Vitamins C and E have been linked to diarrhea and other gastrointestinal issues.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Category A Pregnancy. Human trials that were adequate and well-controlled failed to show harm to the fetus during the first trimester of pregnancy (and there is no evidence of risk in later trimesters).
Precautions & Warnings
Hypervitaminosis. Use with caution during the first trimester of pregnancy. Anticoagulant treatment patients should not utilize ascorbic acid for an extended period of time.
Storage Conditions
Keep away from light and children.
