Zinc Sulfate
Ziton may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, heartburn, and gastritis.
Zinc Sulfate works by raising zinc levels in your body.
Ziton is indicated for the treatment of zinc deficiency or zinc-losing conditions, such as inadequate diet, malabsorption, trauma, burns, diarrhea, and protein-losing conditions. Zinc supplementation should continue until clinical improvement occurs and may be extended in severe cases.
Ziton contains zinc sulfate monohydrate, an essential trace element crucial for various enzyme systems in the body. Zinc supports normal growth, immune function, wound healing, taste and smell, night vision, and reproductive health. Zinc deficiency may cause impaired immune function, delayed wound healing, poor night vision, alopecia, skin changes, and poor reproductive development.
For maximum effectiveness, take at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. If stomach upset occurs, take it with food.
Zinc can reduce the absorption of tetracyclines, quinolones, and penicillamine if taken together.
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
Safety in pregnancy has not been established. Zinc crosses the placenta and is present in breast milk.
In acute renal failure, zinc accumulation may occur, requiring dose adjustments.
Store in a dry place, away from light and heat. Keep out of the reach of children.
